Hello Neighbors,
Just to keep you updated in our battle with Laetitia. During the months of August, September, and October; Laetitia spent upwards of $167,000 to repeat the original wells studies that were conducted by Cleath (and were later declared bogus by Fugro). Due to our efforts, the County forced Laetitia to repeat the original well studies; this time performing them the proper way.
We were told by Brian Pedrotti, the County planner, that the well studies were completed during the last three months, but additional studies are currently being conducted. He would not divulge the results of these new studies.
Evidently Laetitia has not given up…and we will not either! As described in earlier emails, we have been assured by both 4th district supervisor candidates, Teixeira and Zimmerman, that they would be opposed to the Laetitia development based on the lack of a sustainable water supply.
We will keep you informed if we hear more about these new well studies.
