‘The simpsons’ is one of those programs that comes along every decade or two. It has now garnered the honor of being the longest running series in history. I enjoy The Simpson’s due to it’s ascarbic whit and scathing ‘take-no-prisoners’ attitude. Everyone is fair game on this program.
The Simpson’s seems more like a light-hearted self-deprecating sociological treatise. The subplot is right under the surface, usually quite visible… but not seen too well by children perhaps. In fact, The Simpson’s is not really a program for children.
Even so, I am a fan of the program though I don’t make any particular effort to watch it, but anytime I see it is on and watch a bit, I have a good laugh for sure.
I came upon a small quiz you can take to test your knowledge of one of the perennial favorites of this series, the neighbor boy ‘Millhouse’. Yes, poor Millhouse, it seems nothing ever works out right for him, he’s like Charlie Brown.
Sadly, (or maybe not) it turns out I am not that well versed at all in ‘Simpson’s Trivia’. I scored a miserable 33% on my test. Oh well, this is not a test that is important to pass at this stage of my life… if ever I am concerned about garnering good marks in such a test…. perhaps I need to have a nice talk with qualified personnel.
