Get 2.1 cents for every gallon of gas you pump!

This was too good a deal to pass up!

   Gas for just .9 cents per gallon…. and you get three cents off for every gallon if you belong to Von’s Club! Well, we do belong to Von’s Club, so I figured we’d get paid 2.1 cents for every gallon we got!

  Alas, when I tried to pump, something was wrong with the machines, and I could not get any gas to come out.

   My one big chance for a big score, and the electricity was out…
