White blooms of Trichocereus at Rivenrock
These Trichocereus are an interesting and pretty plant… but the blooms cannot be ignored!
We got these plants some ten or twelve years ago while walking through town, I went to the door, explained my interest in the plants, and the people gave me a few cuttings. We’ve had them growing here all these years since.
I find it very interesting and touching about how I can knock on the door of a total stranger, explain my interest in their cactus, and I have never had anyone ask me to leave… cactus gardeners seem to enjoy sharing their knowledge and plants. I am usually treated to a personal tour of their garden, learning of the personal history of the plants in their posession…. yeah, people can be so good
